Harvest isn't the moment the fruit appears.
It's the moment we recognize it's ready.
Spring has always been my favorite season.
It feels full of possibility.
Energy.
Beginnings.
I've never looked at Fall with the same appreciation.
I've begun to wonder if I've misunderstood it.
Perhaps Fall isn't asking us to mourn what is ending.
Perhaps it's asking us to appreciate everything we've been nurturing all along.
Not only in gardens...
But in ourselves.
In our relationships.
Our work.
Our families.
Our courage.
Harvest isn't simply the end of a growing season.
It's an invitation to pause long enough to recognize what has already grown.
We spend so much time looking toward what's next...
that we sometimes forget to acknowledge what has already become part of us.
Before rushing into the next season...
take a moment to notice your harvest.
You may discover you've grown more than you knew.
Keep becoming. 🦋
